New Beauty Haven Alert – Philvert

“It’s Friday, I’m in love!” Well, in this case it’s almost Friday, but I am in love nonetheless! Today saw the launch of a brand spanking new beauty webshop, Philvert, and it’s like Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter have rolled into one for this skincare lover. As it would befit a true beauty haven, Philvert is helmed by one of the most knowledgeable skincare connaisseurs out there, Philippe Bijnens. Created when his own extensive search for a Belgian webshop offering effective and organic niche brands skincare fell short, he set out to select the most effective of organic brands with that price / quality ratio we all love, and introduce them to the Belgian market. Me Time

A while ago there was a campaign from Swedish Mammoth Ikea asking us about our ultimate Me-Time moments. With two children, a full time job, a hobby I refuse to give up (that would be this little thing right here you’re reading right now, for which I thank you very much!), Me-Time moments are a rare occurrence, but sometimes even I manage to switch off, and that’s thanks to my ultimate 3 me-time moments: 1. A mask a day Or any kind of beauty moment by extension. The chit chat, the head massage, the capable fingers of the hair stylist colouring, …

Ever since the launch of her eponymous fashion brand, Mrs Beckham, ever the epitome of understated elegance, has proven collection after collection that class is in the  details, in the cut of the pieces, the choise of fabric and quality thereof, the understanding that less truly is more. If anything, Victoria Beckham has well understood that lesson and has, in the 6 years since launching her own brand, shown multiple times that she is a sartorial force to be reckoned with. After having diversified her original line with it’s sister line Victoria, Victoria Beckham, her accessories and handbags, the natural next step in the evolution of her brand was the opening of a very first flagship. Located a hop and a skip away from Dover Street Market; a monolith concrete sliding door opens into 6.000 square feet of hush tones, providing everyone that enters …
