A Little Spring Wishing

Aka my weekend shopping list…. Spring is in the air, and I feel like shedding those dark winter tones and step into the blush and camel hints of those rays of that perfect soft first Summer light. The perfect shirt dress accompanied by the ultimate pair of high heeled sandals, a classic pair of glasses with a twist, a swish of powdery sunshine on my cheeks and a hint of coral to mak my lips pop. A few finishing touches in  the form of a sleek bag and stunning delicate earrings, and I am ready to fully savour that first Spring lunch al fresco, ginger ale in hand and the sunshine on my face! Crazy For Coats

Autumn is finally here, but sweater weather isn’t the only thing I get excited about this season! Time to get those elegant, gorgeously tailored, stunning coats out of their summer residence, and no, I’m not talking about those pesky, bulky bombers or puffed up snow-proof winter coats *That Michelin Man look does not suit me* But these beauties? Striking colours, sharp cuts and that perfect layer to easy into colder temperatures, maybe I should make room for one or two more….  *Anyone else going shopping this weekend?* 1: Terre Bleue  / 2: Baukjen / 3: Scapa / 4: Baukjen / 5: Terre Bleue

Bomber love

A bomber jacket never really topped my must-have lists, it looked all right on others, but on me? Tailored blazers, leather perfecto’s, pea coats and trench coat models came and went, but the love between a bomber jacket and me, well that just bombed… And then this exquisite Scapa beauty caught my eye. Drawn in by the midnight blue and silver tweed front and back paneling, which stands out even more thanks to it’s contrast with the navy sleeves, it’s as if Coco Chanel herself created a baseball jacket with a Chanel twist . It just exudes sporty chic, and while I may not be sporty, chic is my middle name! I  was heading out to meet a friend of mine for lunch on one of those first Autumn days when you the skies are celestial and the air is crisp, and was so hell bent on wearing this new love of mine, that I matched it with a white silk tee and a pair of tuxedo shorts. Autumn, me and my new friend are ready …

5 Things – The Wishlist edition

Seems like an eternity since I last feautured a 5 thing post here on LeenLovesStyle, but no fear, we are easing back into the swing of these (whilst trying not to overload you dears with too many product reviews…). First up, a few of the items that have jumped onto my wishlist (it is Wednesday after all!). Edited down to the five picks that have caught my eye, here we go! * Reiss has done it again! Browsing their webshop for a few ideas for my little sis’  wedding later this year quickly turned into a full on love fest! Currently racing through my mind are the Alexia shorts and this Hermione top, and how breathtaking are those cut-out sandals? Or pair them with that makes-me-want-to-play graphic playsuit? * The Christopher Kane for NARS Collection: Whenever NARS presents something new, I am all eyes and ears (NARS Fanclub? Where do I sign up?), and the very moment I spotted this new collaboration on Harpers Bazaar, I was sold! Based on the spectrum of reds and pinks used by Christopher Kane in …

Scapa Autumn / Winter 2013

Scapa has long been one of my favourite brands for wardrobe basics (the famous wardrobe top 10) and subdued, sophisticated, office-proof pieces for when casual doesn’t cut it. The brand is one of those monuments of Belgian fashion, a household name with a certain reputation, and though some might think it mopre fit for our mothers than for a girl in her 20’s or 30’s, they have some great pieces. Scapa and their PR team were so kind to invite me for a look at their Autumn/Fall 2013 collection, and while the entire collection (Scapa & Scapa Sports) is gorgeous, below the items that really caught my eye and made my heart skip a beat.

A Scapa Spring

Never on Wednesday PR Days

Maar, a picture says a thousand words, so here it goes:
