50 Shades Of Spring… On My Nails

April has come (and almost gone) before I could even wrap my head around the fact that Winter has ended. My head is already longing for June, and my body is still stuck in February judging by the amount of thick cream my dry, parched skin still demands every night and the dark polishes still dominating my mani’s. Time to do a bit of an overhaul, both mentally as physically! And where better to start than, quite literally, at the end, ie my tippie toes and fingers? The whole girlie, full on bubble gum pink has never been my thing, not when I was a young girl myself nor now when it comes to my own little girl, but over the years I have come to differenciate and appreciate certain shades of pink that do not bowl me over or frighten me into thinking I’ll look like a walking talking Barbie. Coral, dusky, dusty pink and soft ballerina rose, here’s to you this season! Only You Vamos A La Playa is currently gracing my nails, …

A Kure Bazaar Perfect Spring Pedicure

Empty the contents of my nail polish drawer, and you’ll quickly see that my stash is very much dominated by one brand, Kure Bazaar. I’ve spoken of my love for this unapologetically organic yet trendy brand before (no nasties, no chemicals, much love!), and the amount of times it has popped over here is a clear indicator of just how much I prefer their polishes to other formulas (Kure Bazaar lovin’ over here, here, here and here). I may have a stash that will last me from now till my retirement, but somehow I mostly end up going for these three for a springtime pedicure. Chloe is the passe partout, the gentle, soft, purple tinted taupe that looks good with any outfit, any skintone and every season! Feel like dipping your toes in a spring-fit folie, than Bikini & Co is a perfect match! Not pink, not too orange, not even too red, just the perfect, not-too-bright coral. Feel like taking it even one step further and really make those tippy toes pop? Then Turkoise …

Nail Suite 601 By Kure Bazaar

Paris! City of Light, City of Dreams, City of Beauty and home of the Parisienne style! Where everyone was born looking fabulous, and where great style goes from head to toe (literally)! The place where one goes to when wanting to spend a while dreaming away about living a picturesque life. As from now one, my favourite nail polish brand, the unsurpassed Kure Bazaar is adding to that splendid beauty that is Paris, with the opening of their very first beauty salon in an equally unsurpassed location, Suite 601 of the Park Hyatt Paris Vendôme. Open to hotel guest and non residents as well, this is a salon unlike any other. Gone are the gaunty tables with armrests, designer Aurélien Deleuze uncoventionally created a luxury  haven of relaxation with sophisticated armchairs, platforms of Parisian stone and colourful cushions to complement the nail polishes sunny disposition. The refinement of the hotel matches perfectly with the exclusivity and the high standard of the polishes, a true expression of Parisian style! As if I need another reason to book …

Kure Bazaar
