These two looks have pretty much been a steady fixture on my face these last few weeks, office days, endless meetings, brunch with my friends, dinner dates, they have seen me look glorious through it all! Low in amount of products, even lower in effort but high in effect, shortly put, my kind of look! If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it! Let’s have a quick peek, shall we?
For my base, I must admit to having played around a bit, depending on the coverage / glow ratio I want to obtain, switching between the Givenchy Beauty Balm, the Sisley Phyto Teint and the Eucerin Hyaluron Filler CC Cream. A light touch of bronzer later, I turn my focus to my eyes. I started to become real lazy with eyeshadow lately, so an easy application and a quick dusting of one colour all over the lid are my two requirements at the moment. Clear the eyeshadow playing field for Buberry Sheer Eyeshadow in Pale Barley and Charlotte Tilbury Colour Chameleon Eye Stick in Amber Haze. Both variations on the same theme of sheer but buildable, both equally gorgous when lightly applied or used in an amped up look. Pale Barley’s golden sand-taupe glow matched with a flick of a dark brown liner is a surefire hit. Easy does it, my new mantra!
When I want something a bit more sultry or smoky, I go straight in with Charlotte Tilbury’s Amber Haze. This burnished bronze hits the perfect note between bronze, brown and gold, and boy do I love it. Quick, easy to apply and longer lasting than Westminster Abbey, there is not a single fault to this eyeshadow.
I round off both looks with a few layers of my current favourite mascara, the Rimmel Volume Colourist Mascara. It matches the Charlotte Tilbury in longevity, it’s pitch black seems to only deepen throughout the day, and I no longer have to chose between volume and lenght. Win, win and triple win!
Gorgeous product shots! I love the burberry shadows, they are so long-lasting! xxx Emily
