As I’m writing this, I slowly recovering from a particularly heavy session on the crosstrainer that I’ve conveniently placed in my garage (fancy, I know!). Now, I don’t do sexy while working out, I fall in the red-as-a-tomato and constantly heaving category, and trust me, it is not a pretty sight. All that stands between me and dropping in my bed like a sack of potatoes (too tired to do elegant now) is a a quicky of some sorts, a short but refreshing shower. After oooh-ing and aaah-ing when the water hits my aching muscles, I reach for the one shower gel in my vast collection that somehow perks me up and soothes me at the same time, the Korres Mint Tea Shower Gel.
Korres and I go waaaaay back, even to before this whole beauty infatuation of mine began. Greek, organic and with a high concentration of natural ingredients, it rings a bell of another brand, but unlike Apivita, Korres does not zoom in on one specific ingredient for all of their ranges. Tailor made, straight from nature and a balanced play of effective ingredients, Mother Nature knows best! Now, back to my shower and the Korres Mint Tea Shower Gel! Strangely, unlike what it’s name would have you think, tea, mint or even mint tea aren’t it’s core ingredients. Aloë vera juice not only brings that rush of freshness I so love, but gives my skin a boost as well, keeping it in tip top shape thanks to the bucket load of vitamins ans antioxidants it carries. Ingredient nr 2, wheat, soothes all that has been boosted a few seconds before, while hydrating the skin even further by placing a protective film over it. Mother Nature really knows best, and so does my body, because after a soft lather of this shower gel, I am so knackered that all that’s left for me to do is rinse off, put on my pyjama, a little nighttime routine and hit the bed…
