I’m London bound again (yay!!!) and this time, it’s no business and all pleasure (double yay!!!). This city has always held a special place in my heart, being there feels like coming home (proof here) and to say that I am über excited to go back, is an understatement! The reason behind this trip makes it even sweeter, my darling friend is getting maried next Spring, so instead of doing some pub crawl or get a stripper or something, we’re off on a bachelorette trip! Ladies only! It’s going to be exciting, enticing and overwhelming, but above all, it’ll be a weekend to remember!
Weekends to remember, and especially weekends to remember can play a little number on your skin, so I’ve packed a little skincare menu to be prepared. You know, better safe than sorry. It might be a bit preposterous to pack two masks if you’re only going away for the weekend (not doing travel sizes over here, sorry!), but a severe allergic reaction has turned my skin into a Sahara-like dehydrated, bumpy mess that is about as glowy as a piece of rock. And rock-like skin is not exactly what I want to rock at a fab dinner reservation. Dr Brandt’s Oxygen Facial Mask is my quick fix to solve the lack of glow – situation, and the Erborian Bamboo Waterlock Mask does just that, lock in the water! 001 Skincare Pure Lavender Hydrolat Toner has proven it’s worth over and over again, under any circumstance, while the Dr Sebagh Hyaluronic Acid Serum Repair is the perfect base for a full day of fun, shopping and laughter. The Couvent Des Mimines Cream For Sensitive Skin is a no-fuss day cream, and if there’s a bit of skin that still craves a bit of moisture, a little touch up with the Avène Cold Cream will do wonders. The night shift will be covered by the Avène Physiolift Soothing Regenerating Night Balm, and dry limbs won’t stand a chance thanks to the Avène Body Oil.
London, my face will be ready for you!
