Summer and a full face of make up don’t really match. Sweat streaked foundation, blotchy bronzer, runny mascara, been there, done that, got the t-shirt. I hardly wear any make up in the summer, my collection just gets to gather dust in my vanity during these months, but on days where I need a little touch up before a meeeting, here’s what I go for.

Philosophy’s No Reason To Hide still is my light base of choice. All in one go, it evens out my skin, adds a touch of radiance and adds in the SPF50 I need. A little dab of Giorgio Armani Eraser Concealer covers those traces of a long night, with the Givenchy Noir Couture Mascara in Black Satin to take my eyes from “just awake” to “here’s where the magic’s at!” Jane Iredale’s Golden Shimmer is the ideal highlighter on days like today. I gently appply some on the apples of my cheeks, and the soft golden sheen scumpts them a little, without being too orange. Not a chunk of glitter in sight! Another favourite this summer has been the Jane Iredale LipDrink SPF 15 Lip Balm in Crush, a gorgeous berry tinted hydrating lipbalm. A hint of colour, a whole lot of moisture and longlasting! Win-win-win! Lastly, I just pop on my new Tavat Zara sunglasses, a little spritz of my summer love, Clarins Eau des Jardins and off I go!
