Pharrell Williams paints Adidas Oiginals in Supercolor

As Spring breathes new life into the world around me, time to inject some colour and freshness into my wardrobe. All through winter, I lived in shades of black, white, grey and powder pink, and instead of blending into the crowd, Spring calls for turning heads, wherever you go!

Now obviously a new Spring wardrobe also calls for new shoes, and this time, no ballet flats or Acne Pistol boots! Adidas Originals, fresh off of a previous revival of another of their classics, the Stan Smith, tapped into the crazy mind of über trend maestro Pharrell Williams for a remake of their iconic Superstar model.

You can imagine every hipster, fashion blogger and self-professed style connaisseur from here to New Zealand pounding the pavements with these pretties, and quickly becoming a mindless part of the hipster uniform. This uniformity makes you a bit wary? Don’t worry, Pharrell is all about doing your own thing and expressing your own personaliy, so he wanted the Supercolor to be available in, well, a super array of 50 colours. From the brightest of yellow for a true Spring Chicken to the darkest of navy blue for a bit of a française look, whatever your mood, there is a Supercolor to boot!

Now this is a 50 Shades of I can get excited about!

  1. Everybody is so hyper about these but to be honest… I have seen way nicer sneakers! They look good together though 🙂

    • I think it is the combination of the timeless design and the modern touch of the rainbow of colours that makes them so appealing.

  2. I love the regular Adidas sneakers but these look amazing! Navy, black and maybe a teal or minty shade? Yes, please!

    • Those minty and lilac shades are so dainty! But I love those orange and bright blue ones as well!
