I like shopping for myself! However, I love shopping for my kids! Before my first pregnancy, I never would have thought so, but my children’s wardrobes are my greatest enjoyment and biggest guilty pleasure. Too cool for school outfits, little onesies to woo everyone in, sturdy basics and like daddy, like son looks, I know where to find them and revel in buying them!
Belgium has got it pretty well covered with Petit Bateau, H&M, Zara and Hema amongst others to score those wardrobe additions for my little ones, but the one thing we are sorely missing, is a brick-and-mortar BabyGap store. And let it be BabyGap that always seems to nail it, from collaborations with Diane von Furstenberg and Stella McCartney to cute collections featuring Peter Rabbit and kick-ass superheroes.
The latest collection gets the Paddington Bear treatment, and it’s just too cute for words. The original illustrations by Peggy Fortnum serve as inspiration for this limited edition line, ranging from newborn bodysuits to Paddington’s signature duffel coat and yellow Wellington rain boots. Now, which one was the closest by store? London’s Regent Street?
The blue polka dot coat!! Ahhh! Way too cute
