Make up needn’t always be expensive to be interesting and exciting. With Spring coming up and a lunchbreak to spend, I wandered around my local drugstore and a few items caught my eye.
Loving any and every make up item that can simplify my routine and at the same time make me look better, I am a big fan of the Laura Mercier Caviar Eyeshadow Sticks. Easy to use, great colour range and longlasting, these sticks are the basis of most of my make up looks. However, at € 27.50 per stick, my budget doesn’t stretch that far that one little wave of my credit card makes all the colours magically appear in my make up drawer ( I wish…). So, when I spotted the Rimmel Scandal’Eyes Eye Shadow Sticks, my interest was inmediately picked. 5 shades with a creamy texture, blendable and buildable and easy to use, both as an eyeshadow or as an eyeliner. Best part? They are only € 6.99 per stick. # 03 Bad Girl Bronze and #08 Blackmail are calling my name…
Eyes covered, I quickly moved on to my other addiction, nailpolishes. Eager to move into a Spring-mode but not quite ready to go for the full on bold colour, the Les Blancs collection by L’Oreal popped out amongst all other polish offerings. 6 pastel shades that evoke those Spring feelings of freshness, purity and a new start, and at € 5.99 per bottle, these won’t break the bank if, like me, you cannot choose which one you like most.
