As I wrote yesterday, Clarins has surprised me with one of the most pretty, if not the prettiest Spring collection of them all. But besides that gorgeous make up collection, they are also presenting two new launches this Spring that are bound to put a spring in my step and hopefully simplify my morning routine and work their magic on my soon to be newborn baby fatigue – riddled complexion.
Launching this month are the Clarins Instant Light Radiance Boosting Complex, three priming bases that aim to brighten your skin where needed and conceal what needs to be concealed. All three shades hydrate the skin for a plumper, more even complexion whilst also offering protection from environmental aggressors such as pollution and free radicals. Creamy and smooth, these are designed to create a fresh, flawless base. Rose will mainly add a dose of luminosity to dull skin, Champagne is perfect for neutralizing any redness plus create an even tone and lastly Peach, which boosts your skin with vitality and radiance. Needless to say I’ve got my eye on all three of these.
Next up is Clarins’ take on what must be the most important product in my routine, ie the cleanser. If the cleanser doesn’t perform well, nothing else will! Clean skin = good skin. For all of us dry skinned ladies, Clarins is adding the Clarins Extra-Comfort Anti-Pollution Cleansing Cream ( to their skincare range, and this permanently. A thick cream designed to melt away make up, pollution and any other residue or impurities clogging those pores, with nourishing qualities and an added detoxifying action that is supposed to work all the way through to the epidermis to get skin as purified as possible. Ingredients – wise, this cleanser is well thought-out. Extract of moringaseeds remove all traces of pollution, jojoba oil keeps the skin’s own moisture barrier up, the fatty acids of the mango and shea butter add extra moisture where needed and lastly lemon extract has been added to counteract the drying effects of water. Sounds like the perfect evening cleanser!
