Burberry Beauties

Recently I posted my birthday wishlist, and while that was already quite a list, I did not add one of my main beauty loves of this year, Burberry Beauty, which requires it’s own list. Head over heels for this and with no sign of our love affair fizzling out, Burberry Beauty is slowly but surely taking over my make-up collection, with several eyeshadows, the foundation, highlighter and bronzer all having secured their place in my daily make-up bag.

After launching their cosmetics range in 2010 and it’s instant global succes, it was only a matter of time before the British powerhouse jumped on the bandwagon to release a covetable nailpolish collection this autumn: the Trench Kisses Nail Polish. Keeping in line with Burberry Beauty’s core mindset of “effortless elegance”, the 3 polishes released this month are inspired by their couture counterpart’s autumn/winter colour palette: a milky-nude Stone, a beautiful dark red Oxblood and graphite black Poppy Black.

Created by the brand’s artistic consultant Wendy Rowe under the creative direction of Christopher Bailey, the formula promises to include moisturizing and strengthening ingredients, pro-vitamin B5 and myrrh extract to keep nails smooth, strong and moreover, not have them turn yellow or flake. Additionally, they are quick-drying and very glossy, so your manicure should not take forever to dry.

Three shades may seem very little for a nail polish launch, but at the end of the day, these three are the only shades you will ever need to make a killer statement this autumn or winter. Stone is the perfect, office-proof nude, Oxblood is the true classic, beautiful, goes-with-everything wine-red, and Poppy Black is the stand-out-statement shade that oozes rock as well as chic!

Has anyone of you ever tried these polishes? Are these as good as the rest of the Burberry Beauty offerings?

Available at Inno Brussels as from October.
€ 19.00 per lacquer
