After last year’s “Meet The Family” capsule collection and it’s global succes, American fashion maestro Tommy Hilfiger has once more teamed up with The Walt Disney Company for a sartorial coorperation. This time, the preppy brand has designed a Spring/Summer ’13 capsule collection for kids, drawing inspiration from The Muppets.

Kermit, Animal and co go bold and preppy, with 4 t-shirts and a sweatshirt for the boys, and 4 t-shirts, a sweatshirt and a dress for the girls. Colourful and tongue-in-cheek, these pieces feature images of Kermit, Miss Piggy, Animal, Fozzie Bear, Beaker and my personal favourites, Statler and Waldorf. To boot, most items feature the character’s most popular catchphrase.

Tommy Hilfiger and UPR were so kind to send me an item from this collection for my little man at home, and they seem to know him perfectly, because when I opened that package, the Animal-sweater came peeking out. Talk about a perfect match! The sweater fits perfectly, you can dress it up or down as you wish, he loves the print and I can just already see him rocking it to his first day at school!

We tried to take some pictures of our budding model, but unfortunately he decided that modelling wasn’t for him, so below is the best we could get from our uncooperative little man :-).
