A little note from a long lost friend on my Facebook wall got me thinking today. Why not write in English? I sure spent 5 years at university studying every in and out of the language of Mr Shakespeare himself. And from a marketing / PR / economical point of view it would most definitely increase my chances of exposure and eventual readership. But that’s never what I set out to do, I just wanted a little place where I can ramble about fashion, beauty and all other things that interest me, be it for my kid, my friends and loved ones or myself…
So please help me out here. Do I keep in writing in Dutch? Or do I give it a go in English? Do I keep my feet firmly on the ground or do I aim for something bigger? Go big or go home?

Just wanted to let you know that I think what you are doing with this blog is amazing! You have been interested go fashion and beauty for a very long time and I think it is cool that you now share your interest and knowledge with other people.
Why not write mostly in Dutch and whenever you spot a big trend or write about something you yourself find very important or revolutionary, write an English version of it as well? Just an idea. In whatever language you write, I’ll read it! 😉
Thanks! This is definitely a good point to consider. At your point of view I would say keep in writing in Dutch. And later on you could aim to bigger seas. And whatever you decide at least I can take a look at your beatiful pics 🙂 And yes, believe it or not, I can few words of Dutch.
